One of my favorite times of summer are the chats we have on the hammock. The sun is taking its time to set and the temperature is just right. The hammock is a great place to hang out and have a chat with whoever has decided to climb in with you. Pearl likes this and she manages to climb in the middle. Tonight's occupants were Bob and RJ. I enjoy catching a peek as father and son shared conversations that were in a variety of things. These moments are precious and I'm thankful for them. God is good.

Tonight marked the last night of our Revival Services with Evangelist Chris Green. He is a willing vessel for God to speak through. His title was, "The Hands Of A Believer", and his main text was taken from Mark 16:15. Bro. Green told the congregation that if we had come with a desire to be the church and used by God, God was going to impart something to us. That is exactly what happened. Bro. Green is out of the box. He knows when the Lord is moving and he is not afraid to stop in the middle of his sermon and go with the flow of the spirit. He also is not afraid to be transparent. I'm praying there will be many more like him in these last days. Truth spoken with anointing. What God did in the Old Testament with his hands, Jesus did in the New Testament with his hands. He said that his sheep know his voice and he knows them. We are his sheep, his children. When Jesus said, I am my Father are one, he was showing us that there is one God and all tied in to what was going to happen when he died on the cross. No one is able to snatch you from his hands. Jesus did amazing things and miracles. The miracles were never meant to stop. They were mean to continue until he comes back for his church. When Jesus hung on the cross and his hands were nailed to the cross, he said "It Is Finished". What did he mean? Jesus did not put hell under his feet until he put the sin of humanity in his hands, then he said it is finished. When Jesus rose from the dead and revealed himself to the disciples, they thought there were seeing a ghost. It was not until they saw his nail scarred hands, did the know who he really was. He was nailed to the cross for the sins of humanity. The hands of a believer will reflect the hands of the savior. His hands healed the sick and fed the multitudes. He who believes in God, will be able to do greater works. When you ask in his name, Jesus, what you ask, he will do it. He told us to go into all the world. He didn't just say go to church. We need to go to church, we need to "eat" the word of God. Once we eat it, we need to go, open our mouth and share it. A silent truth is no better than false doctrine. This hit me hard when he said it. I made a promise to my Father in Law that I would make sure his grandchildren heard that Acts 2:38 message. I repented, because I don't feel like I have tried hard enough to share this truth. When you were with him, after five minutes, he would be telling you about the saving gospel of Jesus Christ. He was the hands of a believer to anyone he met. Idle hands are the devils workshop. Jesus said the harvest is plenty, but he laborers are few. It needs to be a great harvest due to a great amount of laborers. We read 4 times that Abraham believed God and he was counted as a friend of God. Pew warmers believe in God, Prayer Warrior believe God. We are vessels of God, don't let time be wasted on your disbelief. Don't the blood of others be on your hands. If you do not speak the truth, then their blood will be on their hands. Once you have told them and if they reject it, their torment will not be the hell fire, but remembering they were told the truth and they chose to not receive it. We can not walk in faith if we are afraid it won't work. When you lay your hands on the sick, pray with faith that God will heal them. Jesus wants you to give him your hands. He wants to give you the power to pray for the sick, to be the vessel that he moves through. God is good.

When I came home from my operation, RJ had decided that I needed some helping pigs to keep me safe and give me comfort. He piled the three of them straight up. One was very tiny and meant for comfort. The second one was soft on the outside but strong like a piggy bank to protect my incisions from being accidentally hit while I was sleeping. The last one, was the most helpful of all. This piggy is a pillow pet given to me by my niece. This piggy helped keep me together when I had to stand up and became my guard when driving. Piggy pillow wrapped perfectly over my belly and protected me from the seatbelt strap. I had some rather strange looks from neighboring cars. I didn't care what it looked like, my piggies were a great help to me. Not only did they keep my body safe, they brought many laughs. God is good.

I had the privilege of taking care of the sweetest baby today. We went for a "walk" around the block and enjoyed the beautiful weather. RJ sang the ABC's to the baby in French. Pearl stayed outside, since the baby is so tiny. I enjoyed all the cuddles and sweet baby sounds. I'm glad to have been able to give showers of love. Babies are precious and it's no doubt this one is a treasure. We know the parents agree. God is good.

It's good to be home and it was wonderful to be in church at Bethel today. Presently our church is in Revival. Evangelist Chris Green is preaching the revival services. He is anointed and knows when to stop when God is moving. The results of his sensitivity opened the door for 18 people being filled with the spirit of God and 7 being baptized in the precious name of Jesus. His main text was taken from Acts 2:14-21. I gave the title, "It's Happening Now", since I'm not sure what the title was. Hallelujah is the highest praise we can give, it means, I give myself to Jehovah. You can take a ten minute stroll through Times Square and see that many have given their life to everything, but God. In the book of Acts chapter 1, Jesus speaks to the disciples before he ascended into heaven. He told them that they will receive power after his spirit moved upon them. They didn't want him to leave. He had to leave. Instead of just being with them, his spirit would be able to be in them. When this takes place, we are filled with his power. Where the spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. He sets you free. The Prophet Joel prophesied several things. There would be repentance. This is turning to God with all your heart. When this takes place there is a great move of restoration. What has been stolen is returned. What has become dead, will be brought back to life. After this happens, God will pour out his spirit upon all flesh. God doesn't care where you came from. In the middle of your failure, his power begins in you. How do you receive the spirit of God? It is a step of faith. Jesus, here I am. You can't make it happen with your knowledge, Jesus is the one who does it. This applies to healing as well. It takes faith. There is power in the name of Jesus! My notes stop here, the power of God was moving in a mighty way. Bro. Green stopped his sermon and called for those who wanted the Holy Ghost, the spirit of God, by evidence of speaking in other tongues (Acts 2:38)to come to the front. He then asked for those who needed restoration and healing to come forward. He had everyone repent and then when we were done, shout out "Hallelujah". The power of God fell and 18 were filled with the spirit of God. I saw my son praying like he has never prayed before. It was an atmosphere where you worshiped, for you knew God was walking amongst you. God is good.

We said goodbye to the Appalachian Mountains today. It has been a week of splendor and display of God's masterpiece. Those who live in the mountains are always kind and friendly. We love our times spent with them. Times are hard for this particular area. They have a strong faith in God and know he will make a way for them. We may be out of the mountains, but the mountains are in our heart. God is good.

Today was our last day in Virginia, we head towards home tomorrow. I will miss the mountains and the sweet people who live here. We enjoyed dinner tonight with good friends. RJ, Ross and Terry had a blast playing tag in the summer rain. It was a day of hiking and just soaking in the amazing beauty all around us. The week was a short one and I'm glad for our time here. God is good.

Today was a day filled with unexpected surprises. Our room has a balcony that overlooks the canyon. While RJ and Ross were swimming, I stayed at the room to enjoy the view. Bob decided to join me and accidentally locked us out on the balcony. We didn't mind since the view was great and instead of panicking, we just sat and enjoyed the view. We eventually called the front desk and they opened the door for us. Later in the evening we decided to go into town for dinner. Much to our delight, there was a bluegrass band playing. There is nothing like hearing bluegrass live. I love this place. I find rest when I am here and feel extremely close to the Lord when we are here. God is good.

As we drove up the Appalachian Mountains towards Breaks Interstate Park, we were mesmerized by the rays of sunshine breaking through the trees. We arrived to our room in time to see a spectacular sunset across the mountains. I love being here. There is such an atmosphere of serenity and peace. Looking at God's masterpiece reminds me of how great he truly is. God is good.

Today, we celebrated Father's Day with Bob and Joe. First, we celebrated our Heavenly Father at Solid Rock Church. Bro. Wyn preached a great sermon on it being time for the man to stand up. Men need to be Godly leaders in their homes. After that we went to the Chill and Grill along with the Wyn's and we prayed for God to bless their business. We prayed with them as they dedicated their business to the Lord. There is nothing better than a Father who teaches his son how to be a blessing to others. RJ was there as saw his dad being an example of putting God first. Later, we enjoyed a BBQ and cake with family. Of course, I called my dad. I'm blessed with an amazing dad who chose to open his heart to me as his daughter. I'm beyond blessed with the best dad in the world and a husband who is a very active and loving father to our son. God is good.

We are glad to be in NJ for the weekend. Both moms are doing well. We enjoyed celebrating Rachel's graduation from High School. From there we stopped by The Chill & Grill to check out them out. They are a new in town and we stopped by for some ice cream. Presently, ice cream is the only available at this time, but very soon, food will be on the menu. It's been five years since I have been able to eat ice cream. Today I had the pleasure of eating their Banana Split known as the "Chilly Willy". Every bite was a celebration in my mouth. Everyone else enjoyed ice cream as well. If you are in the South Jersey area, I highly recommend you stop by and try their delicious menu items. You can find them at 1001 W White Horse Pike located in Egg Harbor City. The ambience is inviting, family friendly and the staff are accommodating. I enjoyed every bite and look forward to trying out their other items on the menu. God is good.

We said goodbye to 4th grade. RJ is now a 5th grader. It's hard to wrap my mind around the fact that he has reached this point. He's growing up quickly and I see his independence growing in leaps and bounds as well. A huge thank you to his outstanding teachers. Now we embrace summer and the adventures that await us. God is good.

Sunday into Monday was spent at a hospital with my mom. Thankfully, she is ok and home. It's been a week of upside downs and surprises. It became so much more clear the scripture on if you love this life you are going to lose it. In a split second everything can change. Loving the things and people so much can hurt. When you lose all of this to Christ, there is a peace that comes. I came to this point in the middle of the night while sitting next to my mom in the hospital. I gain so much more when I truly give God everything. My family, finances and health all to God. When I give it all to him, he gives it back as a gift. Heaven is my goal and the things on this earth are temporary. I lose my life to Christ and find peace. Every day God gives me is a gift. I don't want to waste it. God is good.

This morning, I was given the news that my mom was being rushed to the hospital. She has been admitted for observation. We don't know at this time what caused her symptoms, it's possible she had a stroke. Please keep her in your prayers. In everything we give thanks. God is good.

Tonight at the last service for the District Conference, two very special couples from Bethel were ordained. The Vayna's and the Walker's took the step of faith and answered the call. I have the deepest respect and regard for them. God is good.

Tonight marked the second night of the New York Metro District Conference. The place was packed. The atmosphere charged and hearts were ready to hear The Word. Tonight's speaker was Bro. Paul Mooney. I'm extremely fond of him and love to hear him preach. I learned a long time ago that taking notes when he preaches, just makes me miss half of what he is saying. He didn't have notes and he walked to the pulpit and declared he didn't know what he was going to preach about. He started to quote words to many old worship songs. He then commented on a song from way back. "Have You Got A Good Religion?" The reply would be,"Certainly, Lord". He asked the question and had the congregation give the answer on several occasions. He did this throughout the sermon. He read from Ephesians 4:2-5. Bro. Mooney was trying to get a point across. We depend on gimmicks and professionals to tells us how to have church. Tell us how to preach and we have lost something. We don't need fancy anything to reach the lost. We don't need books and seminars on how to have a move of God. We just need to show up and let God do the rest. We are not the ones to be telling God what and how to do things, we are to listen to what God has to say to us. Everything needs to be spirit led. As God leads, that's where you go. As he was preaching, I remembered church growing up. The spirit of God would began to move and we just went with it. Even if it was not the songs that were planned and not the order of the service as planned. People would be slain in the spirit and drunk in the Holy Ghost. We have good church, we really do. I'm blessed here at Bethel. However, my son has never witnessed people passed out in the spirit. He has never seen someone drunk in the spirit. Those were the "old days". I don't want it to be the old days. The church has become so seeker friendly, that we have lost the ability to take out hands off. We must be God led in everything we do. If we show up and wait on God, he will do the rest. God is bigger than we allow him to be. I appreciated Bro. Mooney's preaching tonight. I believe we are in the last days. Do we have a generation of people who are in it for the easy way,or are they willing to sacrifice everything?! You can not rely on personal strengths and abilities. We must rely on Christ Alone. ''Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus, just to take him at his word, just to rest upon his promise, just to know, thus sayeth, the Lord. Can we do this. Do you have a good religion that allows this? I hope the answer is certainly, Lord. God is good.

This weekend is our Annual District Conference. Tonight's sermon was preached by one of my Heroes. I have had the greatest respect for him since I was a young child. One his sermons is what moved me to sign up for AIM to Taiwan. Bro. Bruce Howell was a missionary for many years to El Salvador. He has been the General Director for Global Missions for several years. Tonight, he preached a dynamic sermon on, "But There Is A God In Heaven". His main text was taken from Daniel 2:25-30. He first started off by sharing what is going on around the world. Wonderful reports of the mighty move of God that is taking place. After he shared this, he began to preach. He did this with an interpreter. I have to say it was one of the best and anointed English with a Spanish interpreter I have experienced. Nebuchadnezzar had a dream. This dream bothered him. He called to his soothsayers and magicians to interpret the dream. There was a problem since he did not remember his dream. He wanted to remember the dream for him and then interpret it for him. They were is employees and this was what he paid them for. This was a real test for them, could they do what he paid them to do. Many will say they are spirit filled. They have learned "how to do it". It is so important that we do not memorize the tricks. The world doesn't want an imitation, we need a real move of the Holy Ghost. When he goes to Pakistan, there are guards all around him. He can't go there with something that is not real. He must be filled with the Holy Ghost. We need to stop memorizing the right words and statements, but be filled and led by the Holy Ghost. Jesus is not the second person of the trinity, he is the only one of the divinity. There is no other. We get so preoccupied on wanting everyone to feel welcome, that we quench the Holy Ghost moving. We can not let this happen. Just forget about everything and worship God. We need a move of the Holy Ghost. The soothsayers and magicians told Nebuchadnezzar that not even the gods in the heavens can remember his dream and tell it to him. They are ears that can not hear! Many today say that healings do not happen anymore, that the Holy Ghost no longer falls. There is a God in Heaven! He is our Father and he knows our name. He knows where we are and he is not dead. He is interested in what is going on in your life. Then, Bro Howell began to speak about what has been going on with Muslims. He admonished us and reminded us that God loves everyone. We are not to be unkind to someone because they are Muslim. We are to love everyone. Jesus died for everyone. We better not be ones to mistreat others because they don't look or believe that same. We are to LOVE EVERYONE! The magicians and soothsayers called for Daniel to help them. Daniel could have puffed up in pride and said that he could do it. Instead he told them he would tell the dream and interpret for all of their sakes. He wanted them to know there was a God in Heaven who knows all things and cares. Remember that person you don't get along with, God cares for them and loves them. It doesn't matter what the doctors have told you or the problem you are facing in your family. There is a God in Heaven and he cares for you. He can fix the impossible. Don't let anyone tell you anything else. He then shared two miracle stories. One happened many years ago when a civil war had broken out in El Salvador. He was there with his family. They were in their home and he was using his body to shield his children. He was thinking that he had made a mistake and was endangering the life of his family. When the firing had stopped, he and his family ran to their van and made their escape. They were driving towards huge rocks and boulders set up to stop them. There were guards with machine guns. Bro. Howell, figured this was it and they were all going to die. Instead of stopping, he pushed his foot on the gas peddle and a miracle happened. The van flew through the air, over the boulders and soldiers. They were saved. BUT THERE IS A GOD! Recently, in Fiji there was a family. They did not believe in God. They took their sick boy to the hospital and he died there. At the hospital was a lady from the church. When the hospital told the family to bring clothing and dress the boy for burial, she approached the family. She asked if the could pray for the pajamas they had brought to burry him in. They thought she was crazy, but let her pray. She prayed in the Name of Jesus over those pajamas. When the parents began to put the pajamas on the dead baby, a miracle happened. The baby began to breath and life came back into the baby. BUT THERE IS A GOD IN HEAVEN! God is good.

Today is two weeks since my operation. I went to see my surgeon for a check up. He gave us some news we were not expecting to hear. When they opened me up, they discovered that my gallbladder was diseased and had several polyps. They were sent out for testing and we are so thankful to hear they are benign. I'm thankful that I do not have cancer. I'm thankful that my God is a healer of all diseases, even the ones we don't even know we have. My body is healing as it should, I still have pain, but each day gets better. You never know what news the day will bring you. I'm thankful that no matter the news, God is in control and he is Good!

Today is The Day Of Pentecost. This is the day that cloven tongue like a fire fell on those who were praying in the Upper Room. I was determined to go to church on this day. Thankfully, I am feeling much better and gladly made my way to the House of The Lord. There was a mighty move of God's spirit. Four were baptized in Jesus name. Six were filled with Holy Ghost by evidence of speaking other tongue. One of these, is a good friend of mine. He has been seeking for this experience for several years. The spirit of God was moving so strongly, that Pastor Davis was not able to preach. I believe we are in the last days. I believe the Lord is coming soon. I believe we are going to see more and more outpourings of God's spirit. As wars and rumors of wars escalate and as we see more instances of violence, God's spirit will also fall in mighty ways. If there ever was at time for you to make the choice to follow Jesus Christ, the time is now. Jesus is coming soon!

The past two weeks Pastor Davis has been teaching some very important lessons. Due to my recovery, I have missed these lessons. However, I am ordering the CD's and when I'm well enough, I will share them with you on my blog. God is good.
