I want to express my heartfelt thanks and gratitude for all the prayers for my cousin Amalia. She went in this morning for a liver transplant. The doctors were able to remove her tumor and she is now cancer free. There were no other tumors and the cancer did not spread. The new liver transplant went well and she is doing great. She is well on her way to recovery. I was able to speak with her on the phone before she went into have the procedure done. We prayed together and gave thanks in advance. She knew that she was going to either wake up in heaven or wake up on this earth. Regardless, she was in the hands of Jesus and she had peace. It has been a long road and the family is so thankful for the grace of God that has allowed Amalia to still be here with us. She is a precious child of God and I know she will do great things. Her body is now in the healing process and I thank you in advance for all your prayers. I ask that you keep the family of the liver donor in your prayers. They lost a loved one, so we could keep ours. The miracle of life has been given to Amalia. We rejoice in this gift. God is good.

Today Pastor Davis preached a dynamite sermon that is needed for the present time we are living in. I forgot to bring my journal and did my best taking notes on all the pieces of paper I could find in my purse. I will do my best to share his sermon, but it may not be as good, since I was writing in between words on the papers. His main text was taken from Daniel 3:1-4. His title was, "Will The Real Church Stand Up?!". I put a question mark and exclamation on purpose. It was a question and a statement at the same time. Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego along with Daniel, had been taken captive around 605 BC. Daniel was already in a position of great leadership and had by this time revealed the dream to King Nebuchadnezzar. In Daniel chapter 1 we see that they are faithful to God. Daniel chapter 2 we see that they are men of prayer. Daniel chapter 3 it's established they are men who only serve the one true living God. They were devout men doing their best to serve God in a strange land. The pagan king decided to have a mass meeting. He built a huge statue and decreed that all would need to bow at the sound of the music or they would be cast into the fiery furnace. It was bow or burn. They purposed in their heart way before this day took place that they were going to serve only the one true living God. It was not a spur of the moment decision. They were not grown men, but boys when this took place. These young men stood for what was right in the face of a very large crowd. When the music played, one massive crowd all bowed down. There is a mob mentality that is taking a hold on this world in this present generation. There is pressure to follow along with the pack and do what everyone else is doing. Pastor Davis then went off his notes and really began to preach from his heart. We are in the last days. The devil wants our children and wants our homes. We must be so careful what we allow in our home. What are we listening to, what are we watching and where are we going? There is pressure to bow down to the popular belief of this world. It's time for the church to realize that we are not a political party. We are not Republican, Democrat, Conservative or a Liberal. We are the church and we are followers of what God's words days to do. We are to love everyone. We are to protect life and we are to open our arms to foreigners. We need to be full of the Holy Spirit to allow it to guide us on what is right according to the word of God. Be careful to not let the politics of this present day, take you off of what the word of God says is right and what the word of God says is wrong. Let God's word be true and every man a liar. Shadrack, Meshach and Abednego did not bow down. They stood for what they knew to be right. They knew that by doing so, they would be thrown into the fire. The king was so angry, he made the fire 7 times hotter. It was so hot that the soldiers died when they went to put the three boys into the fire. They were not afraid. They believed that God could deliver them and if he didn't that still had faith in their God. Their faith in God was not shaken by the face of death. Their faith in God was strong even if they did not survive the fire. They had a made up mind. They walked into the fire and God walked with them. Their ropes that had them bound, burned off, but they were not harmed. God did not deliver them immediately from the fire, he walked with them through the fire. We are in the last days. It's time to make up your mind if you are going to live for God. Are you willing to stand for what is right? Will the real church stand up? When it's not popular to stand on what God says is right, will you stand up? A day is coming when you will need to make a choice. Make up you mind today that you will stand on God's word. You can not say you live the way you do because you pastor tells you to. There may be a day when you do not have a pastor, can you still stand strong against adversity? Will the real church stand up! Make the choice to stand up for the identity of being a follower of Jesus Christ. God is good.

We are still in the month of February, but it was as if Spring was bursting forth. Signs of Spring are everywhere I look. With it comes hope for warmer weather and sunny days. Of course this type of warmth is not normal for this time of year. I will not complain and I enjoyed the warmth of the sun today. God is good.

If you have read my blog for some time, you will know that I have a deep love for the Chinese People. Also, a while back I was hit by a car. This led me to meet a nice young Chinese lady who gave me a great massage. This turned into a Bible study and she recently was baptized. We met with her pastor tonight and had an instant connection with him and his wife. We got so deep in the word of God, that we lost track of time. We plan to get together again and we look forward to meeting with them again. I'm thankful for our new friends. I am always the happiest when I am around Chinese people. Of course at the end we enjoyed some authentic Chinese food. I'm so thankful for this wonderful night and new friendship. God is good.

Social Media these days seem to have become a place of "yelling" and "screaming". Many are on their soap boxes and declaring their very strong opinions. I'm thankful for freedom of speech and I choose to not read them. I choose joy instead. I believe we are in the last days. I think there is more chaos to come. However, I am choosing to not get caught up in the hysteria that seems to be consuming the world, at least according to social media. When I look at my real world, in my home, I seek the peace speaker. Jesus brings joy and peace. I can look up and know that I can laugh and be silly with my son. I don't know what tomorrow holds for this world, but I know my world is in the hands of Christ. Many can rage with the machine. I will choose to serve, love, pray and find laughter in my day. God is good.

Tonight, I was enjoying the fellowship and conversation of a sister from my church. We were so deep in talking about the things of God, that we lost track of time. On Tuesday's we meet to give a Conversation Class. Tonight, no students came. It was ok, we took the time to talk about God and life. We both enjoyed the fellowship. Next week, we will meet again and continue to do so, knowing that eventually students will come. All we need to do is spread the word and show up. God will do the rest. In life we tend to complicate things, yet with God, his way is simple and great at the same time. He speaks it and it is. Just like that. There is something about lifting up the name of Jesus. Strength comes when you take your eyes off of yourself and look at him. God is good.

Today we had the privilege of having two children with us. Their mommy just had a baby, so to let her rest, they came to be with us today. I have enjoyed every minute with them and it's good to see RJ having so much fun. It had been a joy to see them giggle and just be kids. We had an adventure of an old popcorn maker. Their delight as the popcorn came flying out was so fun to watch. I feel like we were the ones blessed by having them here. God is good.

Today in service, Bro. Terry Shock preached a continuance of his lesson on Thursday night. This sermon is so simple and yet revolutionary. If we could only apply this and make it a lifestyle, the world would be a better place. His main text was taken from John 13:4-5 and his title was, "Jesus Was A Servant". Our world is a mess, our country is a mess and our lives are a mess. Jesus is the answer for this. He is the way, the truth and the life. We read that Jesus was in an upper room and there should have been one Lord and 12 servants. Instead there were 12 Lords and One servant. Jesus was the servant. He was the one with the most understanding that there is power in willingness to serve. He was the picture of love on his knees with a towel. He used is power to change lives. He used bread to feed, power of death to raise people from the dead and deliver people from their sins. He was not in it for himself, he was in it for the lost. We have the choice to make to let the mind of Jesus be in us. Jesus was God in the flesh and he was armed with a towel. He stooped to become man and then stooped even lower to serve man. Serving was a part of his character. With Jesus, what you see is what you get. If you want to be like Jesus, you need to be a servant. Just doing good things is not enough, there needs to be a revelation on who he is. We need to follow the servant King. Pastor Davis likes to say, "The Best Is Yet To Come". In order for the best to come, we must have a lifestyle of servanthood. Serving can be a challenge and messy at times. We are to serve people to Jesus. This can change our life, not just those that we are serving. If you are feeling depressed, encourage someone. If you are feeling lonely, become a friend to someone. Serving others takes you out of your sorrow. We need to be connected to the feels of the situation. John 13:35, we are to have love one to another. He didn't say for one another, but love to one another. We must show our love. You can prove that you love God first if you do not show love for others. By showing love to others, you are showing that you love God first. If you want to go to heaven, you need to do more than just have salvation, you must be a servant to others, also. We need to love as Jesus loves. When Jesus took the towel and got on his knees to clean the disciples feet, he could have made an excuse to send Judas out of the room. He didn't do this. He washed the feet of Judas, knowing that he was about to be betrayed by him. Jesus the greatest example of loving your enemies. You can not do this on your own, it takes the power of the spirit of God to do this. Jesus gave us the example of how the order needs to be. He also after he was a servant, found a place of solitude. You need to able to break away from the crowd and make a decision on your own. A place where you may have to make some hard choices to be a servant when others around you do not agree. It must be an individual decision. Serving, Solitude and Submission lead to the Spiritual. It's amazing how people will push away the lifeline God is giving to us because we are afraid that it's not God, but something trying to hurt us. If we will serve and then find a place of solitude followed by submission, we will then enter into the supernatural. Jesus is looking for those who have a servants heart. It's time to pick up the towel and become a servant in our home first, our church and in the community. Search for the "felt" needs that are around you and do your best to meet that need. No one may ever know what you did, but God does and he's looking for a servant's heart. Bro. Shock challenged us to put a towel somewhere in our home, where we can see it. This towel will serve as a reminder that we need to have a servants heart. We will be putting one in our home. Servanthood starts first in the home and then flows out to wherever we go. God help me to have a heart like yours, the heart of a servant. God is good.

Tonight Bob and I took a walk on the boardwalk. We watched the sunset across the ocean as we braved the chilly breeze. It wasn't too cold since the sun had been out today and brought with it a hint of Spring to come. We talked about the faithfulness of God. How over the past 10 years of our marriage and even before, God has always taken care of us. Life can be uncertain, but God and his word never changes. When you truly put him first, he makes a way where there seems to be no way. Even in the times that just do not and never make sense, God is there to bring peace. I'm thankful I just don't know of God, but I know him. I'm thankful that I can place my trust in him, knowing he works all things for the good. Just to walk with him, means everything to me. God is good.

RJ has an assignment to write a book report on someone of interest to him. After much thought, he decided it would be neat to do a book report on someone that is not very well known. He is a vital part of history and from Long Island, NY. This will not be your typical report as he will be participating in Live Wax Museum presentation at school. Meaning, he will be dressed as and bringing to life the character of Robert Townsend, the spy. We took him to the house that Townsend grew up in. His home is now a museum called Raynham Hall. Our tour guide was very accommodating and gave RJ a wealth of information for his book report. It's been interesting to learn so much about our Nations history. We then went to see his grave and followed that by dinner at Tabby's. If you are in the area of Oyster Bay and would like to learn an interesting part of history, I recommend visiting Raynham Hall. God is good.

Tonight we had a guest speaker at Bethel. Bro. Shock taught on "Serving In The Kingdom". It was really good stuff! I love is teaching and preaching. His main text was taken from John 13. Those who are Kingdom minded are those whose hearts that are willing to submit to the rule of God and to his ways. It's important to serve in a manner that leads people to Jesus. You can not force or guilt people to Jesus, you need to lead them to Jesus by serving. Jesus was the greatest example of this. He washed the feet of the disciples. The feet were the dirties part of the body and he got on his knees and cleaned their feet. See the world as Jesus did on his knees. He did the task of a hired servant. He was big enough to become small enough to impact lives by serving them. Many struggle to do this. To have the respect of others, act as a servant towards others. We read in Mathew 20:28 we are not to come to church to be ministered to, we are to come to minister. If we had the mentality that we are in our environment to minister to others, it would turn our world upside down. It's time to not focus on what we can get, but what we can give. A life of a true servant leads to a full life of abundant living. Those who are self-serving live shallow lives. The more focus on self, the less of life that is lived and fulfilled. What would happen if we would make our lives focused on windows instead of mirrors. When you serve yourself, you eventually dry up. Jesus was humble and willing to serve. He was always serving and as a child was obedient to his parents. Be ye doers of the word and not hearers only. The most deceived people are the most faithful to church. You become so comfortable sitting on a pew that you only hear and never do. We must hear the word and do the word. Knowledge means nothing if you do not put it into action. There are three dimensions of a servant. The first is to serve in the home. Jesus' first example was not in the temple, but in a house. He was a servant to the ones dearest to him. Who we really are is who we are at home. We need to stop and take time to read Galatians Chapter 5 and score our self from a 1-10 on how much of each of the fruit of the spirit we have active in our life. Until our home becomes a church, the church is merely a religion. You can never become what God wants you to be if the church isn't in your home. When you are serving others in your home, there is harmony. There is this idea that the man works hard and brings in all the money. The wife stays home and does all the work until she's at the breaking point. The child is to be served and given whatever they want. When it really needs to be everyone working together. The child needs to be given things to do. If they are wanting to be used of God, then they need to first clean their own room. Showing respect in the home and serving one another changes everything. The home needs to be a place of rest and a refuge. Everything starts in the home. Why is it so easy to serve others outside the home and not inside the home? Many times it's because we are upset with the person. Remember, Jesus washed, Judas' feet, knowing he was going to betray him. Serve those who are not nice to you. We as parents need to train our children to be respectful and to serve others. We start this first by teaching them in the home how to help around the house. Simple things like pick up your toys and put your things away. This is the way to began teaching your child. For single parents the job is so much more the harder. This brings in the second dimension of serving. The second is in the church. Finding something to do to help. Helping in the church should not be something that hurts you, it needs to be something that involves a God giving gift. If you are good at something use it as a way to serve in the church. If you are a great mechanic, you can use that as a gift to help someone, like a single parent, to fix their car. If you are good with children, teach a class. If you have a great voice, sing in the choir. Use what you are good at to serve others in the church. The third dimension is your work, school and outside environments. Listen to those around you and find a way to serve others. Give five minutes of your time to help someone in need. Serving is doing what needs to be done, no matter when it needs to be done. If you are going to live for God, you need to be a servant. God is good.

There is a phrase that Nike likes to use. You see it on their t-shirts. Tonight, as Bob was reading from the book of Psalms, I began to think about how powerful the words were. Start reading from Psalms Chapter 46 out loud and you began to feel how mighty and great God is. I think someone should make a shirt with the slogan,"Just Psalm It". When you are going through a scary time, quote from Psalms 46:1 "God is our refuge and strength, a very present time in trouble." Just Psalm you way through it. Not sure what decisions to make in life, "Be still and know that I am God..". Just Psalm it. Facing the possibility of losing your home? "God is known in her palaces for a refuge". You can rest assured that God is in control. No matter what you are facing you can know that, "The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song I will praise him". No matter what you are facing. No matter how hard it may seem to be, Just Psalm your way through it. God's word is a lamp. Speaking these promises of God will bring peace. God is good.

Tonight I gave a brief history to RJ on where Valentine's Day came from. A few hundred years after the death of Jesus, Christians were going through persecution in Rome. The Emperor at the time was not in favor of young people getting married. Those who were followers of Christ, knew that God valued marriage and it was a sacred thing. Thus, a Priest by the name of Valentine began to marry Christians in secret. He was later killed for this and his last letter he wrote was signed, forever your Valentine. In our present day, very few know where this holiday comes from. They do however show their love by the giving of chocolates, flowers and love filled cards. I believe that marriage is sacred. It's not perfect, but I like this day. I like it because we remember why we married our spouse in the first place and get out of the rat race to show our love for one another. I guess that's why I value this day so much. This morning, our little boy woke his daddy up at 3am. He was so excited because he and daddy had a surprise for me. By 5am, RJ couldn't wait anymore and I was brought into the living room. I was greeted with lit candles, hearts, roses, beautifully written cards, a toy pig and chocolates. The love was radiating from all over the place. I deeply appreciate it and am blessed. Later in the evening, Bob took me to dinner to eat my favorite food in the world, Chinese food. I'm thankful for my sweet little boy and my husband. God is good.

This past Sunday we attended church at Solid Rock UPC in NJ with my mom and mother in law. Bro. Wynn preached a compelling sermon with the title of "These Signs Following". His main text was taken from Mark 16:15-20. There are signs everywhere telling us what to do or where not to go. We see a sign giving direction and warning, these signs can save us. The spirit of God within us is a guide to show us where to go and where not to go. Bro. Wynn showed several sings from places and events. He then began to talk about how when we are filled with God's spirit there is a sign to show it has happened, the evidence of speaking in other tounges, as is spoken about in Acts 2:38. The Bible also talks about signs following those that believe. When you are filled with the spirit of God and began to share the gospel, the miraculous will begin to follow after you. Healing and deliverances will take place. Miraculous occurrences that only can be done by God will begin to take place. The same spirit of Christ that rose Jesus from the dead is living with us today. This same resurrection power is within us. Be full of the Holy Ghost everywhere you go and signs will follow you. It's time to turn your cities upside down with the gospel and saving power of Christ. God is good.

We spent a lovely weekend in NJ. It's always good to see my mom and mother in law. Of course we can't forget treasured times with Joe and his family. There really was not much snow in NJ when we arrived and by the time we left, the snow was gone. We arrived home, to plenty of snow still left behind after all the rain. Today we attended service at Solid Rock UPCI in NJ. Bro. Wynn preached a great sermon. I plan to share it with you tomorrow, since I am tired and want to do his sermon justice. I'm thankful they are there and are doing a great job. For now, I will gladly lay my head down to rest. God is good.

Today I had the honor of attending a Ladies Brunch with my mom and mother in law. The group of ladies at Solid Rock are wonderful to be around. We took the Love Language Test, to see what ours would be. I was not surprised by mine. It was nice to just be able to attend something like this with my mom. Later in the evening the Grandmas took the grandsons out on a date and we went on a double date with Joe and Jen. Time with them is always nice. It's also been a nice break from the snow we left behind in NY. Spring is coming soon. God is good.

Yesterday it was 60 degrees and the sun was shinning. Today we woke up to a blizzard. By the time the snow had stopped we ended up with about 13 inches of snow. The boys worked hard shoveling and Pearl enjoyed getting lost in the snow. Fun was to be had and Bob took RJ for a sled ride. It's very cold outside and the roads are iced over. Due to the conditions of the roads and cold, RJ does not have school tomorrow. He was very happy about this news. I like the snow, but this California born girl is ready for Spring to come. Hopefully, it will warm up and this snow will quickly melt away. God is good.

A Giant among men has flown on to his reward. Missionary Bennie DeMerchant was a hero to many. He was known for years of sacrifice to share the love of Christ to the people of Brazil. He was also known for his many trips on his airplane as he flew into the remote places to bring hope of Christ to many. I find it interesting that this is also the same day, 4 years ago that another Giant, Missionary Steven Willoughby, went on to an early Heavenly reward. It is also the one year anniversary of my Grandpa Brollier's passing away. We do not know when our day will come. We do know that we have lost a steady and faithful man who was loved by many. My husband and I may not have ever met Bro. DeMerchant in person, but we knew much about him. I loved reading his posts on Facebook. His excitement about sharing the love of Jesus never wavered. You didn't need to meet him in person for his life to have a positive impact on you. His strong faith in God, inspired us to not give up and keep doing what God has called us to do. He has left mighty big shoes to fill. Please hold his family up in your prayers as well as the many in Brazil who mourn him. We have lost a Giant, but Heaven has gained a mighty warrior. Many will be the jewels on his crown. Well done, thy good and faithful servant, Fly high in Heavenly skies. God is good.

A year ago a Giant in my life flew to his reward in Heaven. My Grandpa Brollier went to be with Jesus. It was also in February that my Nonna went on to be with the Lord. Presently another Giant to all who love Missions is standing at the gate of Heaven. Many are praying that it is not time yet for Bro. DeMerchant to fly onto his Heavenly reward. I call them Giants for their faith in God is great and in their way, they have impacted many lives. I don't know when it will be my time to fly. I just hope that when it's my time to fly away from this old world, that I have been a Giant for Christ to many. This world is not my home, I'm just a passing through. My goal is Heaven. Please hold up the DeMerchant family and the saints of Brazil in your prayers. We are never ready for a Giant to leave, for their shoes are too hard to fill. Be a Giant for Christ in your world. God is good.

Thankfully, RJ was feeling better and was able to go to school today. He came home with a writing assignment. He was to write what Kindness meant to him. He sat for a while and once his thoughts were put together, wrote some beautiful things. Children have a way is seeing things through a pure looking glass. So simple, yet if we as adults applied it, the world we live in, would be a betters place. I'm thankful for such a sweet boy. God is good.

Since today is Super Sunday, Bro. Walker preached an outstanding sermon on our Super God. His title was, "The Totality of Christ Our Champion" and also had another title of, "Babylon Is Bankrupt". His text was taken from most of the book of Revelation. He broke down most of the chapters to show how Christ is our champion and has already defeated the devil. His sermon was relevant to the time that we are living in. I believe God is coming soon and it's time to make up our mind if we are going to be a follower of Christ or not. His sermon was so deep, that I don't even know if I can really share it correctly with you. I will do my best. Jesus is our redeemer, the champion, undefeated. Revelation 1:18 shows us the beginnings of John's revelation. Jesus has taken the keys to hell and death. Revelation 4 takes John up in the spirit and he see's ONE sitting on the throne. We are going to cast our crowns at his feet, our champion. Chapter 5 tells about the Angels searching for who can open the 7th seal. The only one worthy to do this was the lamb that was slain. Jesus was that lamb. There were many Angels around the throne. There were 10,000 times 10,000 and thousands upon thousands more. We must realize that there are Angels around us. We can not see them, but they are there. They are ready and waiting to worship the lamb that was slain. Our champion is rich in wisdom and strength, He is in control. The Angels were singing, blessings and honor, glory and power be unto the one who sits on the throne and unto the lamb forever and forever. Something powerful happens when we say those words. Revelation chapter 7 talks about what happens when the first 6 seals are opened, they are not things you want to be a part of. The 7th seal, is the seal of our savior. All nations and tounges will come before the lamb and cry blessing, glory, thanksgiving to him. He will feed us and give us drink. He will wipe away our tears. In Christ we have hope! Revelation 12 shows that there is a war in heaven. Michael and his angels are fighting against the beast, but the dragon does not prevail. The great dragon lost in the past, is still losing and will lose again. We are in the last days, it is so important that we forsake not the assembling of ourselves together. We know that we will overcome by the blood of the lamb and by the word of our testimony. The clock is running out, we must have his name and his blood applied to our life. God always causes us to triumph. Revelation 14 tells of two angels that fly out with a message. The first is with the everlasting gospel. This gospel doesn't change or fade away. The second tells that Babylon will fall. Bro. Walker then said and repeated throughout his sermon, " Don't buy the lie and don't drink the wine." Nothing good will come to your life if you choose to live the life of Babylon. Babylon is living a life of sin. Babylon is the 10 kings. They join with the beast. They will make war with The Lamb. Never fear, The Lamb will overcome. He is the champion, Jesus is our champion. Who do you pledge our allegiance to? To Babylon or to The Lamb? By Revelation 18, Babylon will fall and great destruction will come to her and all who follow her. Those who were the consumers of all Babylon (the beast) will weep and mourn. It's not worth the cost. You don't want to be a part of this horrible day. Instead, be a part of the Alleluia, Marriage Supper Of The Lamb. When we see Jesus face to face, he will wipe every tear. No more sorrow, no more sickness and no more heartache in Heaven. Revelation 21, we read that he overcomes and we will rule and reign with him forever. A life with Christ is one of joy and peace. A life with Christ leads to Heaven. If it looks good, but is contrary to what the word of God teaches, it is not truth. Do not buy the lie and drink the wine. Keep you eyes on Jesus. Look up for he is coming soon. God is good.

There is an Aviation Museum that RJ likes to go to once in a while. They have a section dedicated to NASA. It's surreal for me when I visit because I'm looking at things created by my Grandpa. He was Jewish man who was given a chance to be a part of history. I know there is a movie out that talks about a group of African American women who helped the NASA program to be successful. I applaud them and am so glad that my Grandpa was a part of this. Since he was an engineer, he worked with one of these historical women. This makes my heart smile. I wish I had time to get to know him better and learn more about my family history. I am thankful that he played a part in history I am also thankful that he served in our military to protect our country. God is good.

We are in the month of love. Before I was married, I used to call the 14th of February, "Single Awareness Day". I remember not going to school, because it made me sad to see all the flowers or boxes of chocolates in the hands of glowing girls. I have always been a romantic at heart. Now I am married and on Valentines Day, I like to make sure there is a surprise for everyone waiting for them on the table when they wake up. I wish back then, I would not have hidden away from the world. I wish instead, I had spread some love to someone else. A random card or flowers to a total stranger or even someone you know who is lonely. To all the single people out there who dread this month of love, I challenge you to dread it no more. Make it a month of sharing love to someone who needs it or even to someone who never knows it came from you. A random act of kindness will not only make another's day brighter, but you will find, makes your day brighter too. God is good.

Tonight Bro. Ausanio taught part two of a lesson a taught a while back. His topic was, "Good Words & Fair Speeches". His main text was from Colossians 2:8 and Romans 16:17-18. Paul was warning the church to be careful of those trying to rob you of the truth. You need to make sure you know the word of God. Smooth talkers can take the words of God and try to use them for personal gain. You must know the word to know what it really says. Always make sure that what you are hearing matches with what the word of God says. To know if someone is true or not, you will see they have the fruit of the spirit working within their life. We must have love for one another. The Fruit of The Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and temperance. It's important we develop these things before we even attempt to operate the Gifts of the Spirit. To have this we need to be filled with God's spirit. His spirit guides us and develops this fruit within us. Keep your life filled with the things of God. Is Jesus your culture or is your culture Jesus. Make sure what you say and do is based on the word of God. Be careful to not become caught up on things going on around you. Make sure what you are standing on is the word of God. Too many can be easily swayed by what sounds and looks good, but is not based in truth. We must study the word of God and know it for our self. Stay steadfast in the word of God. Know the truth and follow it. God is good. On a side note: We rejoice because mom (Dreama) is home and doing well.

Every first day of February, the Love Bug comes while RJ is in school. Since he is home sick, the Love Bug came while he was asleep. He was so happy when he awoke to see hearts and other decorations in the house. Thankfully, his fever today was extremely low grade. He was feeling really good tonight and was fever free. It's good to see him up and feeling better. He will still stay home due to doctors orders. The Love Bug has more in store for RJ next week while he is back in school. God is good.
